2014 FALL ORIENTATION LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE - WA Collegiate DECA
I was responsible for coordinating the 2014 Fall Orientation Leadership Conference for Washington State Collegiate DECA. Doubling attendance from the previous year (Over 40 participants), the theme was Sustainability in Business. The theme changes annually in order to ensure that participants gain new skills and experiences. Along with creating and distributing registration packets and promotional materials I was responsible for securing high quality session leaders related to the theme, arranging contracts with hosting facility (Best Western Lakeway Inn), Creating and officiating a sustainability focused case study competition, and distributing signed thank you letters to session leaders following the conclusion of the conference.
CLUB HANDBOOK - MIDDLE WOMEN
Hoping to expand the club extention of their organization, Middle Women was in need of a transferable club structure. One of the first steps in this process was the creation of a club handbook. Covering everything a new club chapter officer might need to know in order to establish a club at their school, the focus of the club handbook was initially on university and college populations. Available online as an electronic document, the handbook is just the start of a larger effort that will come to include club support specialists, state and national social events, and Middle Women conferences.

I haven't decided which project should go here. Perhaps I will feature both in time, but I am choosing to work on the rest of my website first.
